DAY 2. The Festival of Flowers

This morning you can enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for a full-day excursion to Kufstein and Ebbs, where you will attend the wonderful annual Festival of Flowers, held each year on the last Sunday of August. Today is a very special day for the citizens of Ebbs who have been working very hard to decorate their floats (anything that moves can be a float – cars, tractors, trucks, etc) with millions of fresh flowers. Lunch is for your own account today and you can enjoy local delicacies from one of the many food stall which line the road.
On our way back to the hotel we will stop at the beautiful little town of Rattenberg, which is the smallest town in Austria. Here there are two museums you could visit or you could just enjoy a cup of coffee at a side-walk café.
Dinner and overnight at your Inn Valley hotel

DAY 3. The beautiful blue lakes Achensee and Tegernsee

Today you will leave after breakfast to visit two magnificent lakes with your tour guide. Our first stop will be in Vomperbach, where you can visit the famous Upside-Down House. There will be time to tour the house if you wish but entry is not included. From Vomperbach we will continue through the wonderful scenery of the Achen Valley to Tegernsee in Bavaria where you have a real Bavarian feast in store. You can enjoy the famous regional White Sausage (Weisswurst) at the Tegernseher Brauhaus, washed down with a delicious craft beer from the Braustuberl Brewery – more information you can find here: www.braustuberl.de
Lunch is not included in your tour.
Later we continue our drive to the beautiful village of Pertisau, which is nestled along the shore of the Lake Achensee. Here you will have time for a short lake cruise (tickets not included) or you can take a scenic walk through the surrounding forests or along the edge of the lake.

DAY 4. Innsbruck – the Capital of Tyrol

Today you have an entire day to explore historic Innsbruck with your guide. We will start by taking a tour of the charming medieval Old Town, which somehow successfully combines Gothic and Baroque architecture. Some of the highlights of this 800-year-old city include the Imperial Palace, the Golden Roof and the Ferdinandeum Tyrolean State Museum. Today you will have free time to pursue your interests in Innsbruck – enjoy lunch (not included) at a pavement café, visit some museums or enjoy shopping for souvenirs.
At the end of a busy day you will meet up with your guide and return to your Inn Valley hotel.

DAY 5. Hall in Tyrol and Swarovski World in Wattens

This ancient city has been around since the 13thcentury and is a particularly wonderful place to visit if you love history and architecture. Be sure to remember your camera! You will have free time in Hall to wander the narrow cobbled streets at your leisure. Lunch is not included so you can stop anywhere that takes your fancy.
After lunch we will meet up again and proceed to the market town of Wattens, which is home to the famous Swarovski Crystal glass company. You will have free time for personal shopping before we return to the hotel.
Tonight you have a special Tyrolean evening to look forward to.
Dinner, Tyrolean entertainment and overnight at the hotel

You will get to taste some of their excellent cheese and you can also buy some cheeses at the factory shop. From Fugen we will continue to the village of Mayrhofen, which lies in the heart of an important winter sport centre. Here you will have free time for shopping and lunch (not included in the tour) before we meet up again to continue our journey to the spectacular tiered Krimml waterfall, the highest waterfall in Austria. (Entrance ticket is not included).
